Category Management Executive

Yeo's is hiring a Category Management Executive. Read on for the details of this job.

Responsibilities:

  1. Purpose – to manage function of Category Management services to both company and retailers.
  2. Job summary – development of merchandising standards for YHS product and continuous training for sales staff to comply. Analysis & configuration of sales data to create database for space management and also facilitate business presentation and promotion proposal to support sales function and retailers.
  3. To support sales, to propose and secure category management (planogramming) with HTO & C-Stores chain accounts. With retailers scanned data to plan planogram for retailers by configuration & space management & provide database analysis for feedback on performance & shares to sales.
  4. Provide sales data to sales purposes of presentation & business review, negotiation on promotion & renewal of trading terms to demand for better space management & product range listing.
  5. Assist sales in the development of merchandising standards & continuous upgrading of merchandising training for Sales staff. Conduct market check to enforce compliance by constantly bench marking against others and interpret and respond information from Trade, Brand, Customers & support sales function.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum Degree in Statistics/Business/Marketing or any related field.
  2. 1 - 2 years relevant working experience in planogramming, category management and merchandising.
  3. Conversant in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  4. Independent and result orientated, with good interpersonal and negotiation skills as well as leadership qualities.
  5. Computer literate with practical application of basic of MS Office applications.
  6. Willing to travel.
